I have visited the Tibetan Dalai Lama 5 July, in 2015. at first, I have visited so-called orange village near Darjeeling. I was walking on way to Mall along Gandhi Road from our GH near St. Pals School. I came behind a signboard, “Welcome to Himalayan Tibet Museum”. It is on 12, Gandhi Road, Darjeeling. I decided to pay a visit to the museum & paid entry fee of Rs.50/ per person. It was written on the ticket that the collected amount would be spent on the maintenance & upkeep of the museum. Any way we observed oil painting of Lord Buddha, Avalokitesvara, model of Potala House in Tibet.
Tibetan old currency, coins, books, Photo of Manas Sarovar & so on. Various musical instruments were also on show. You can spend one hour there & observe the old artifacts there. They are also selling some mementos for taking home. I bought two packets of incense sticks for my Guitar. Really these days were very enjoyable which I miss. From my own suggestion, you will get great beauty from the Tibetan Museum which gives you various ways to see this museum & enjoy your Tibetan Museum Trip. I hope your traveling will be great. May God make your happy traveling.
